Principal Designer Services
As Principal Designer, we embed ourselves into the Design Team working closely with all parties to influence how risks to health and safety are managed throughout a design and project.
Our delivery for Principal Designer services includes:
Planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating health and safety in the pre-construction stage.
Advising all duty holders of their duties under Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015.
Undertaking design risk workshops with designers on the project to eliminate foreseeable health and safety risks to anyone affected by the work.
Ensuring all parties involved in the pre-construction phase communicates and cooperates, coordinating their work where required.
Delivery of regular Principal Designer reports to the Client as an overview of work undertaken in the period.
Liaising with the Principal Contractor, ensuring they are aware of any risks that need to be controlled during the construction phase.
Preparing and delivering the Health and Safety File throughout the project to be delivered at completion.
